What Is An MLM Funded Proposal?

by Damien Willis on October 19, 2009

The two biggest problems facing MLM marketers are: Not enough
money and not enough prospects. The MLM Funded Proposal has the
potential to solve both these problems so you can get on with
building your business. I’ve been there, I’ve been in the
situation of not having enough money to continue with MLM. It’s
not a nice feeling.
What Is A Funded Proposal?
A Funded Proposal is a concept of marketing an inexpensive but
useful product on the front end, and marketing the main product on
the backend. An example of this would be the car industry. Most
car manufacturers don’t make much money on the cars themselves
(the front end). They make their real money in the in the after
sale servicing and parts etc (the back end). This is applicable to
many successful business models.
What Is An MLM Funded Proposal?
An MLM Funded Proposal is just a Funded Proposal adapted to the
MLM industry. The best products to market on the front end are
inexpensive, valuable information products such as Magnetic
Sponsoring by Mike Dillard. It could also be a sample of your
company’s products. The main MLM business would then be marketed
to them on the back end.
Why Should I Use An MLM Funded Proposal?
As I mentioned in the intro, the two biggest problems in the MLM
industry is lack of money or lack of prospects (or both). The fact
is, on average, less than 90% of people are going to join your MLM
Company. With an MLM Funded Proposal, you are able to market to
the 90% that won’t join your MLM + the 10% that would. Obviously
not all of them will buy your front end product, but more are
going to buy a cheap product than more serious MLM products. This
creates instant cash flow that you can then put back into
advertising to create more leads thus solving both problems.
What is that most basic rule of business?  It costs about 10 times
more to get a new customer than keep an existing one. So getting a
new customer is the hard part. With a cheap product on the front
end, you can convert a higher amount of leads into new customers
which is the hard part. Once you’ve got them in the door, it will
be much easier to market your MLM to them because they have become
a customer and have already spent money with you.
There is also another benefit. It weeds out the tire kickers from
the serious prospects. If someone is not willing to spend a small
amount on a useful product, then they are never going to join you
in your MLM Company. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to
waste my time on tire kickers.
Combine cash on the front end to spend on generating more leads,
the ability to get more new customers, weeding out the tire
kickers, plus the fact that all the top earners in MLM are using
an MLM Funded Proposal and there is no real reason for you not to
be using an MLM Funded Proposal.

Conclusion

So here are the benefits of an MLM Funded Proposal: More short term cash which then gives you the ability to generate more leads, a higher conversion rate from leads into customers, you only talk to those that are serious, and in addition, most of the top MLM earners use some sort of Funded Proposal, which adds up to a very strong case for you to use an MLM Funded Proposal.
