Good post, Damien.

Particularly the 2nd point. Nothing worse than getting all these messages about the latest craze in MLM companies.

Like most things, if you get someones permission i.e. like in Facebooks case with their group invites, to send them a message then you have their permission to send them more information until they say otherwise.

This is something I do when sending people information. I make a note of telling them that at any time that they do not wish to recieve any more emails with information, they can tell me. That way they know where I stand and I know where they stand.

Hi Damien,

Thank for this post, very good information. It is funny how many people don't put anything in their profile. I have come across people and wanted to see what they were about, go to their page and nothing. That's definitely a good way to lose a potential relationship.
